NOKIA RETURNS!!!! THIS TIME POWERED BY ANDROID

NOKIA did not have a deserving farewell when it comes to smartphones but the legendary smartphone company now owned by HMD Global Oy (for the next 10years) is planning it's return to the market this time backed up by ANDROID, even GOOGLE  is pretty excited about the announcement and is allegedly looking forward to it. 

NOKIA made everything official through its website section designed for smartphones in which it is mentioned that they are working on a smartphone powered by android , you can even give your email ids to receive updates on the same.

Its seems that this phone will be released in early 2017, along with other feature phones. after the failure of NOKIA X and all other unfortunate events in Nokia's history let's hope that NOKIA figures it out.

GOOGLE BROUGHT DOWN SIZE OF UPDATES IN PLAY STORE BY 65%

Everybody was really pissed off by the fact that each and every time you update apps you have to find a wifi hotspot to save the mobile data , google is finally sorting things out regarding this issue by bringing down update size.

so how do it work ? , the update patch file will be decompressed and will be compared with the decompressed apk in your smartphone, it uses a file by file patching so decompressing becomes inevitable , since the decompression and comparison of APKs are  quite intensive they will be doing this in the background while your phone is in charge or when it is idle.

The fact that the update file for NETFLIX has been reduced by  92% by this method is quite compelling , let us see how things are going to work out.  

FITBIT OFFICIALLY ACQUIRED PEBBLE!!!!! RECENT KICKSTARTER BACKERS WILL BE REFUNDED

FITBIT officially acquired pebble , it's believed that pebble's assets have been bought for 35-40 million USD . it is said that the recent kickstarter backers will be refunded within 4-8 weeks, all the supports and updates have been stopped for all the products. 

about 40% of the pebble's work force have been allegedly retained by FITBIT and it does not include the former CEO of pebble Mr.  Eric Migicovsky. 

it's noteworthy that pebble started through a crowdfunding campaign in 2012 with a target of 100,000$ but it ended up reaching 10 million USD , even though they had  a successful crowd funding campaign they couldn't reach out to mainstream audience. 

Mr.Eric Migicovsky seems to be starting a new start up INCUBATOR Y COMBINATOR. 

GOOGLE ANNOUNCES "TRUSTED CONTACTS" TO KEEP TRACK OF YOUR LOVED ONES

Google announced "TRUSTED CONTACTS" a location sharing app to keep track of your family and friends. 

of course, we have all been there "only if could know where my son is " ,now google has got you covered using the new app you can share your location with the trusted contacts ,hence the name trusted contacts , a location request will be sent to the person you wanna track and they will have a 5 minute window either to accept or decline the request, after 5 minutes the location will be automatically shared. The app also has a so-called offline feature for which you will be needing a cellular service and a mobile internet connection. 

other than that this app also features a live feed of the locations of the contacts so that you can literally walk your friend home through virtual map now that is cool. It's currently available only for android.
