of course, we have all been there "only if could know where my son is " ,now google has got you covered using the new app you can share your location with the trusted contacts ,hence the name trusted contacts , a location request will be sent to the person you wanna track and they will have a 5 minute window either to accept or decline the request, after 5 minutes the location will be automatically shared. The app also has a so-called offline feature for which you will be needing a cellular service and a mobile internet connection.
other than that this app also features a live feed of the locations of the contacts so that you can literally walk your friend home through virtual map now that is cool. It's currently available only for android.
